Did you ever wonder where the word “nerd” came from? The word was first appeared in print in Dr. Seuss’s book If I Ran the Zoo in 1950.

A Nerkle, a Nerd, and a Seersucker, too!”
What is a hanten jacket?
The hantens we feature at Nerdtistic Park are Hawaiian-style Hanten Jackets. These jackets are made of a lightweight material and are unlined and not insulated. With their boxy cut, they can be easily layered for cold weather. Hawaiian hanten jackets retain their kimono sleeves and wider collar band. They are worn open or belted.
